Stuffed French Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 Light bread slices I used Eat Royo brand, code CHEFALLIE

BATTER

  • 1 Egg or egg whites
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • Dash Vanilla extract
  • Pinch Salt

FILLING

  • 1/2 Cup Nonfat greek yogurt
  • 5 grams Simply Delish vanilla pudding mix Click HERE for discount

GARNISH

  • 1/2 Cup Crockpot Cinnamon Apples recipe on my blog
  • Cinnmon
  • 3 TBSP Pancake syrup I used sugar free
  • 2 TBSP Fat free Reddi Whip
  • Spray butter optional

Instructions

  • In a bowl combine the egg, milk, cinnamon, vanilla and salt. Whisk until combine.
  • In a separate bowl combine the yogurt and pudding mix. set aside until ready to use.
  • Dip both slices of bread into the batter and place into a lightly greased frying pan. Cook on both sides until golden brown. Spray both slices with butter (optional).
  • Take the yogurt filling and place in between the slices along with the apples. Top with more filling and more apples
  • Garnish with more cinnamon, pancake syrup and whipped cream.
