Slow cooker or instant pot and use slow cooker option
Ingredients
10ApplesPeeled and sliced into 1/2 inch slices
2CupsUnsweetened applesauce
1/2CupWater
Juice of half a lemon
1 1/2TBSPCinnamon
1/8tspSalt
1 tspNutmeg
Pinch of ginger
Pinch of cloves
Instructions
Mix everything up and cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4-5 hours depending on thickness of apples. You can keep it the way it is, all rustic or you can emulsify into an apple butter. I personally love the chunks of apples
