Tuna Melt on an English Muffin

  • Air fryer or oven
  • Mixing bowls

Ingredients

  • 1 5oz Wild Planet albacore tuna in water do not drain
  • 2 TBSP Nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 15 grams Light mayonnaise
  • 2 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 TBSP Scallions Thinly sliced
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Dak's Spices Green Zest or Italian seasoning
  • 1 Light English muffin
  • 28 grams Kraft fat free cheddar cheese or cheese of choice

Instructions

  • In a bowl add the entire can of tuna, juice included if using Wild Planet brand.
  • Break the tuna up to your liking with a fork.
  • In the same bowl add the nonfat Greek yogurt, light mayo, Dijon mustard, scallions, garlic powder, onion powder and Green Zest or Italian seasoning.
  • Mix until combined and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Slice the English muffin in half and place into a 350-degree air fryer or oven to lightly toast. About 2-3 minutes.
  • Once toasted, divide the tuna mixture between the two halves.
  • Add the cheese on top of both halves and place back into the air fryer or oven until cheese is melted. About 2-3 minutes.
