Mushroom and Broccoli Pasta

A delicious and easy protein vegetable pasta dish

Ingredients

PASTA

  • 3 oz Barilla Protein Plus Rotinia pasta dry
  • Water for boiling pasta
  • 1/2 TBSP Better Than Bouillon chicken bouillon base added to water

PASTA MIX-INS

  • 1 Cup Roasted broccoli seasoned
  • 1/2 Cup Sauteed mushrooms seasoned
  • 1/3 Cup Kettle & Fire chicken bone broth
  • 1/2 tsp Dak's Spices Green Zest to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 TBSP Minced garlic

GARNISH

  • 4 tsp Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil Chopped

Instructions

  • Roast the broccoli in the oven at 425 with seasonings of choice, set aside when done.
  • Sauté the mushrooms with seasonings of choice then set aside.
  • While roasting and sautéing, get the pot of water onto the stove top for the pasta.
  • Add the chicken bouillon to the water
  • Once boiling add the pasta.
  • Strain once cooked and set aside.
  • In the mushroom sauté pan, add both of the veggies back in.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30-40 seconds.
  • Add the pasta.
  • Pour the Kettle & Fire chicken bone broth.
  • Sprinkle some parmesan cheese and toss quickly.
  • Put into a bowl and garnish with basil.
