Parmesan Balsamic Roasted Carrots

A delicious twist on roasting carrots. Serve this at your next gathering or make for the week!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds Carrots washed not peeled
  • Avocado oil spray
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 TBSP Dak's Spices Green Zest or Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 6 TBSP Cello grated parmesan cheese or cheese of choice
  • 2 TBSP Balsamic glaze
  • Parsley to garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  • Wash carrots with a vegetable brush and cold water.
  • Cut carrots into sticks and pour into a large mixing bowl.
  • Spray the carrots with avocado oil spray and shake to make sure coated well.
  • Season generously with garlic powder, onion powder, Dak's Green Zest or Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
  • Make sure to shake carrots between sprinkling the seasonings.
  • Pour out onto a parchment lined sheet tray.
  • Make sure the carrots are evenly distributed on the sheet try.
  • Place into the oven for about 20-30 minutes or until nice and roasted.
  • Remove and sprinkle with the grated parmesan cheese immediately.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze Garnish with parsley and more salt.
