Our oldest daughter stated that this was the most delicious vanilla ice cream she has ever had and that it is better than in the restaurants or an ice cream shop!

Vanilla Bean Protein Ice Cream

The best basic vanilla protein ice cream

Equipment

  • 1 Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker

Ingredients

ICE CREAM BASE

  • 1 11.5 oz Fairlife Vanilla Protein Shake
  • 1 TBSP Sugar free vanilla instant pudding mix
  • Pinch Kosher salt

MIX IN

  • 1-2 TBSP Unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla paste/ vanilla from bean pod

Instructions

  • Put everything into the Nija Creami ice cream pint under the ice cream base ingredients
  • Mix very well then place into the freezer for 24 hours
  • Once frozen after 24 hours place into the Ninja Creami bowl and close the lid with the blade attachment
  • Select the "Ice Cream" mode and let it run
  • Once done, pour a few tablespoons of unsweetened almond milk into the center of the ice cream
  • Press the "Re-Mix" butter 5-6 times or until super fluffy and creamy texture is made
  • Take a spoon and make a hole in the center of the ice cream. Place the vanilla bean paste or vanilla from a vanilla bean pod into the center and hit "Mix In" button
  • Enjoy!

  1. Step 1 You say to put everything in to mix. But then steps 5 and 7 say to put in almond milk and the vanilla paste. Are these to be put in at step 1 with extra added in the following steps?

  2. Do you think I could use 11 oz of liquid with 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder instead of the fairlife shake?

    1. You can try freezing the ice cream base in ice cube trays and place into a small food processor or small blender. I’m unsure if it’ll be the same thing but it wouldn’t hurt trying it out!

  3. Why are some recipes with fairlife protein drink and only 1 or 2 tbdp pudding mix and other recipes are fairlife drink and the whole box of pudding mix and in same cases 2 boxes%?
