French Onion Soup

Equipment
- Pressure Cooker
Ingredients
- 1 TBSP I can't believe its not butter , the light one
- 6 Cups Sliced onions
- 4 1/4 Cup Hot water
- 2 TBSP Better than bouillon beef base
- 1 TBSP Flour
- 1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp Dried thyme
- 2 Bay leaves
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 8 Ultra thin provolone cheese slices Sargento
- 3 Light english muffins
- I can't believe its not butter spray
- Garlic salt
- Parsley to garnish
Instructions
- Turn pressure cooker on the saute setting
- Place the 1 TBSP of butter in and once melted add the onions
- Saute until translucent
- Mix the hot water and the beef base together and just add 1/4 cup of the liquid into the pressure cooker with the onions ( set the rest aside )
- Set pressure cooker to high for 8 minutes
- Once done, add the flour & mix up.
- Add the rest of the water mixture, worcestershire sauce and the rest of the seasonings
- Set to high again but for 12 minutes this time
- While the pressure cooker is going, spray the sliced english muffins with spray butter and sprinkle with garlic salt. Toaste and set aside
- Once pressure cooker is done cooking, release the remaining pressure, remove bay leaf and season with salt and pepper to taste
- Pour 2 cups of soup in each soup crock, Place 1 1/2 english muffins in each bowl then top with cheese
- Broil on love until golden brown
