Crockpot Cinnamon Apples

Here is what you will need:
- Crockpot
- Apples
- Apple peeler
- Lemon juice
- Cinnamon
- Water
- Ground nutmeg
- Ground ginger
- Ground cloves
- Salt
- Unsweetened apple sauce
Here is how to make it:
- First peel the apples
- Once peel, cut into slices (1/4-1/2 in thickness)
- Place the apple slices into the crockpot
- Add the lemon juice and water
- Add the cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, cloves and salt
- Pour in the unsweetened apple sauce
- Mix everything until combined
- Place on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours

Equipment
- Slow cooker or instant pot and use slow cooker option
Ingredients
- 10 Apples Peeled and sliced into 1/2 inch slices
- 2 Cups Unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 Cup Water
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1 1/2 TBSP Cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- Pinch of ginger
- Pinch of cloves
Instructions
- Mix everything up and cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4-5 hours depending on thickness of apples. You can keep it the way it is, all rustic or you can emulsify into an apple butter. I personally love the chunks of apples
