Crockpot Cinnamon Apples

Here is what you will need:

  • Crockpot
  • Apples
  • Apple peeler
  • Lemon juice
  • Cinnamon
  • Water
  • Ground nutmeg
  • Ground ginger
  • Ground cloves
  • Salt
  • Unsweetened apple sauce

Here is how to make it:

  1. First peel the apples
  2. Once peel, cut into slices (1/4-1/2 in thickness)
  3. Place the apple slices into the crockpot
  4. Add the lemon juice and water
  5. Add the cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, cloves and salt
  6. Pour in the unsweetened apple sauce
  7. Mix everything until combined
  8. Place on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours

This recipe is great for all year round and makes your house smell wonderful

  • Slow cooker or instant pot and use slow cooker option


  • 10 Apples Peeled and sliced into 1/2 inch slices
  • 2 Cups Unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 1/2 TBSP Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • Pinch of ginger
  • Pinch of cloves


  • Mix everything up and cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4-5 hours depending on thickness of apples. You can keep it the way it is, all rustic or you can emulsify into an apple butter. I personally love the chunks of apples

    I made both the crockpot apples and the muffins and oh my God both are outrageous. Just took the muffins out of the oven so delicious and only one WW points!
