Here is one of the easiest ways to enjoy a cheeseburger without all of the calories.

It is so delicious yet so easy to throw together and makes great for a meal prep option.

It is only 5 WW personal points + 1 gained back and 263 calories for the big Cheeseburger Gyro.

Here is what you need:

  • Pita bread (I use Joseph’s brand)
  • Ground beef 96/4
  • Dak’s Spices steakhouse seasoning
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Borden fat free American cheese slices
  • Iceberg lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Red onions
  • Pickles
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard

Here are the great pita breads that I use. I also like to use the Aldi brand as well; they are less expensive with the same great taste.

Dak’s Spices are the only spices I use and with my discount you can get 10% off at Daksspices.com with code:chefallie

My ultimate favorite melty cheese is from Bordon

The dressings from Bolthouse are absolutely amazing! They are low in calorie and so delicious

How to make:

  1. In a sauté pan brown the beef
  2. Season with salt, pepper and Dak’s Spices steakhouse seasoning to taste
  3. Add some Worcestershire sauce
  4. Take the cheese slices and add to the beef
  5. Once melted, set aside
  6. Warm up the pitas in the oven or on a pan until lightly browned
  7. To the pita add shredded lettuce followed by the cheesy beef, tomatoes, red onions and pickles
  8. Garnish with the ketchup, mustard and bolthouse ranch
