Equipment

  • Saute pan
  • Knife

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 Pound Ground beef 96/4
  • 1 Cup Onions chopped
  • 3/4 Cup Celery chopped
  • 3/4 Cup Carrots chopped
  • 2 TBSP Garlic minced
  • 1/4 Cup No sugar added ketchup I used GHughed
  • 2 Cups No salt added tomato sauce Hunt's
  • 1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 TBSP Red wine vinegar
  • 2 TBSP SF Pancake syrup or syrup of your choice
  • 1 tsp Dried thyme j
  • Pinch Ground cloves
  • Satl & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook beef, strain & set aside
  • Add onions, celery & carrots to the same pan cook until tender
  • Add the garlic and cook for 30-40 seconds
  • Pour in the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, red wine vinegar and syrup
  • Add the seasonings and season with salt & pepper to taste
  • Simmer until thick, about 10 minutes.
  • Serve on your favorite roll with cheese (optional)

Do you love Philly Cheesesteaks? I absolutely LOVE them but sometimes I just want to enjoy the filling so I decided to make a lightened version of my delicious Philly Cheesesteak stuffed into a roasted spaghetti squash.

 

Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Spaghetti Squash

Take my delicious Philly Cheesesteak recipe and place it inside for a lightened no carb version

Equipment

  • Sheet pan
  • Saute pan

Ingredients

  • 8 0z Spaghetti Squash Half
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Avocado oil
  • 1/3 Cup Onions Sliced or chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Mushrooms Sliced or chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Bell peppers Sliced or chopped
  • 3 oz. Dietz & Watson London Broil Roast Beef ( Deli )
  • 1/2 tsp Dak's Steakhouse seasoning
  • 1/2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Borden Non fat american cheese slices White or Yellow
  • 1/4 Cup FF Mozzarella
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425
  • Slice spaghetti squash in half.
  • Spray lightly with avocado oil. Season with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning
  • Put cut side down of spaghetti squash onto a parchment lined sheet tray
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes ( Depending on side of spaghetti squash ) until tender
  • While squash is cooking get the filling together
  • Slice up onions, mushrooms, peppers and chop up deli roast beef
  • Saute peppers until tender
  • Add onions and mushrooms and sauté until tender
  • Add the chopped roast beef, steakhouse seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, non-fat American cheese and the FF mozzarella
  • Right before serving scrap spaghetti squash into "spaghetti strands' then place Philly Cheesesteak mix into the squash
  • Add some steak sauce if you'd like a little something extra

  • 3 oz. Cooked lean and trimmed beef sirloin Chopped
  • 1 Joseph Lavash Flatbread
  • 2 TBSP Aldi con queso
  • 1/4 Cup Black beans Drained & rinsed
  • 1/4 Cup Rotel tomatoes Drained
  • 28 grams Avocado Chopped
  • Lettuce Shredded
  • Dak's Street Taco seasoning season with your heart
  • Dak's Taco Knight seasoning season with your heart
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • I seasoned my leftover steak with the Dak's Street Taco & Taco Knight. Chopped into small pieces and set aside and got all of my other ingredients together
  • Once you have all your ingredients set and ready to go start to assemble your burrito making sure you don't over stuff but you stuff it enough. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Once folded, place open side down on a pan or flat top. Brown up the sides and enjoy
