Grabbing 96/4 ground beef is the best for macros. If you do not have access to this lean of meat, any will do but the WW points will change as well as calories
My favorite low calorie and low WW point pasta that is the BEST tasting and doesn’t turn into MUSH!
If you do not want to make your own sauce like me, I have my favorite store brand from Aldi. Clean ingredients as well.
Here is my sauce I made and make from garden fresh tomatoes, calories are lower, and no oil added. The Aldi marinara also does not have oil added either.
Fresh or prepared minced garlic will do just fine.
The ONLY beef and chicken broth or bone broth I use. If you’d like to try them out use code CHEFALLIESKITCHEN at Kettle & Fire for 20% off. Click HERE to order.
Any Italian spice blend will work just fine. I personally LOVE Dak’s Spices and if you would like to try them out, use code CHEFALLIE at Dak’s Spices for discount.
Whipped cream cheese is great to use for this recipe but the light laughing cow wedges are the best alternative for cream cheese and low in calories and WW points.
This is the little BEAST I use to whip up my cottage cheese and it works like a charm. Click HERE to grab one!
By far the BEST cottage cheese is from Good Culture, second best and easier to find is Daisy low fat.
Here is how to make it:
- In the instant pot spray lightly with avocado oil and set to saute mode
- Add the ground beef and seasonings
- Brown beef then add the onions, carrots and garlic and cook until tender
- Pour the broth into the mixture
- Take the spaghetti and break in half, place in a crisscross over the ingredients
- Push the spaghetti down into ingredients carefully
- Take the sauce and pour all over the dry spaghetti
- Pressure cook for 3 minutes on manual setting, high or if not using an instant pot cover until pasta is al dente
- Once timer is off, let sit for 5 minutes then quick release remaining steam
- Season to taste with salt & pepper
- Add the laughing cow and mix carefully
- Serve and add a dollop of the delicious herbed whipped cottage cheese and basil on top and enjoy
Whipped Herb Cottage Cheese:
- Place the cottage cheese into a mini food processor or blender and blend until super creamy and smooth
- Season with Italian seasoning dried basil, garlic salt and onion powder to taste.

Notes

Is there an alternative way to cook this if you don’t have an instant pot?
Yea right in a large pot, you’ll have to just cover and keep and eye on it for the “high pressure” part when cooking the pasta. You can also cook the pasta and add it in after meat and sauce is done
I see this serves 8 but what is a serving size??? Thanks
I tend to eyeball it with portioning stuff like pasta or spaghetti but you can always weigh out portions too. For this one I believe it was around 1 – 1 1/2 Cups
