Chili Lime Chicken Burgers
Wow is all I have to say about my Chili Lime Chicken Burgers!
This was a HIGHLY requested flavor and it was DELICIOUS!
Each patty is 0 WW and 226 calories. With the bun and fix-ins it is 4 WW and 422 calories with 47.7 grams of protein in it.
These Weight Watchers friendly chicken patties make for a wonderful meal prep option. They are low calories and packed with protein keeping you full for hours.
Put these between a bun, bread, on a salad or even turn into a taco filling.
Here is what you will nedd:
- Air fryer or oven
- Mixing bowl
- NutriBullet or food processor/blender
- Micro plane/Zester
- Handheld lemon/lime Juicer
- 98% fat free ground chicken
- Northern white beans
- Scallions
- Cilantro
- Red bell peppers
- Lime zest
- Lime juice
- Nonfat Greek yogurt
- Garlic
- Dak’s Spices Green Zest (code:chefallie)
- Onion powder
- Chili powder
- Paprika
- Dried chopped onions
- Red pepper flakes
- Salt
- Pepper
- Eat Royo burger buns, code: CHEFALLIE10
- Avocado
- Romaine lettuce
- My chipotle lime sauce (recipe below)
Here is how to make them:
- Preheat air fryer to 390 degrees
- Or the oven to 400 degrees
- Drain and rinse the beans
- Place into the bowl and mash with a fork
- Add the ground chicken
- Sprinkle all of the spices
- Add the yogurt and garlic
- Zest the lime and add the juice as well
- Form the chicken mixture into 4 large patties
- Or more smaller patties if prefered
- Spray the air fryer basket or racks with cooking spray
- Or place a wire rack onto a sheet pan and spray wire rack
- Place the chicken patties in or on the air fryer basket or racks
- Or onto the wire rack on the sheet tray
- Place into the air fryer or oven until internal temperature is 165 degrees.
- Use a thermometer to make sure the temperature is accurate.
- While chicken patties are in the air fryer or oven place make the chipotle lime sauce in the NutriBullet or blender
- Remove and place the burgers to the side and let rest for at least 5 minutes minimum.
- Assemble the sandwich as you wish with the sliced avocado (optional), romaine and chipotle lime sauce on the bun.

BURGER MIX
- 1 pound 98% fat free ground chicken or 98% fat free ground turkey
- 1 Small can Northern beans / Cannellini beans Drained and rinsed
- 1/2 Cup Scallions Chopped fine
- 1/2 Cup Cilantro Chopped fine
- 1/3 Cup Red bell pepper Chopped fine
- 1 TBSP Lime zest
- 2 TBSP Lime juice
- 2 TBSP Nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1 TBSP Garlic Minced
- 1/2 TBSP Dak's Spices Green Zest
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 3/4 TBSP Chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1 TBSP Dried minced onion
- Red pepper flakes to taste
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
CHIPOTLE LIME SAUCE
- 1/2 Cup Nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/2-1 Chipotle adobe pepper
- 1/4 Cup Cilantro
- 1/2 TBSP Lime juice
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- Salt to taste

- 144 grams Avocado 36 grams per sandwich
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 390 or the oven to 400 degrees.
- Drain and rinse the beans, place into the bowl and mash with a fork.

- Add all of the spices, yogurt and garlic.
- Add the zest of the lime and the juice.
- Form the chicken mixture into 4 large pattiesย or more smaller patties if prefered.
- Spray the air fryer basket or racks with cooking spray or place a wire rack onto a sheet pan and spray wire rack.
- Place the chicken patties in or on the air fryer basket or racks or onto the wire rack on the sheet tray.
- Place into the air fryer or oven until internal temperature is 165 degrees.
- Use a thermometer to make sure the temperature is accurate.
- While chicken patties are in the air fryer or oven place make the chipotle lime sauce in the NutriBullet or blender
